How to Apply as a Transfer

1. Determine Your Status

You may apply as a transfer student if you attended another college or university after completing high school or your equivalency credential.

You are required to disclose and submit all records of college-level coursework attempted or completed. Upon review, Indiana State University will determine what academic credits will transfer toward a degree or program upon enrollment.

2. Apply for Transfer Admission

We accept transfer applications throughout the year. Priority deadlines are:

  • Fall semester: June 1
  • Spring semester: December 1
  • Summer session: May 1

Note: Applications received after these deadlines will still be accepted, and we will attempt to have you enroll in your desired semester or term.

3. Review Admission Requirements

Transfer applicants must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

4. Apply to Indiana State University
