Group Lessons – Level Descriptions

In this playful, hands-on class, parents join their young children in the water to explore together. You’ll help your child learn to enter and exit the pool safely, feel comfortable in the water, practice gentle submersion, and glide on their front and back. It’s a bonding experience that builds water confidence for both of you.

Is your child ready for a little independence? This class introduces preschoolers to the water without a parent in the pool. Your child will learn to blow bubbles, open their eyes underwater, retrieve submerged objects, practice arm and leg movements on their front and back, and begin treading water. This class is all about building comfort and coordination in the water.

This is where strong foundations begin. Swimmers will develop positive water habits and learn essential safety skills. They’ll practice floating and gliding on their front and back, alternating arm and leg actions, and rolling from front to back and back again. Confidence grows with every lap.

In Level 2, swimmers gain independence in the water. They’ll practice floating without support, fully submerging and holding their breath, recovering to a vertical position, rolling back to front, and treading water using coordinated arm and leg movements.

These classes are for swimmers who are ready for deeper water. The advanced levels build endurance and refine technique. Students learn head-first entries from the poolside, rotary breathing, flutter/scissor/dolphin kicks, breaststroke kicks, and strokes like front crawl and elementary backstroke. Skills get sharper, and confidence grows even more.

It’s never too late to learn how to swim. Adult group lessons are open to all ability levels, whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve specific skills. Choose the level that fits your goals and enjoy a supportive, encouraging environment designed just for you.
