Student Activities

The Student Engagement Services at Indiana State University offer a variety of programs and resources, including over 200 student organizations, to help students build community, develop leadership skills, and enhance their overall college experience.

Welcome to the student activities hub! There are so many benefits to being engaged on campus, including positive growth, higher GPAs, and fostering relationships. Student Engagement creates experiences for students to enjoy and build community among their peers through the 50+ programs and events we organize. Union Board

The Hulman Memorial Student Union Board (Union Board) strives to provide educational, social, recreational and cultural programs for the benefit of the ISU community. The Union Board consists of five committees, each offering opportunities to learn valuable work skills while meeting new people and making new friends. Union Board members serve as role models for other students through goal setting, advanced planning, evaluation, and follow through on assigned projects and committee work. The Union Board also plays a pivotal role in the planning and execution of Homecoming, Spring Week, and Sycamore Sessions. You can visit those pages to learn more!

The Union Board meets every Thursday from 5-6pm in HMSU 521.

Sycamore Sessions

The Indiana State University talent show. The show includes performances from solo and group acts. Dates for the 2026-2027 shows are:

  • October 6th, Hulman Center, Sync/Sessions, doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7pm
  • October 30th, University Hall, doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30pm
  • February 19th, Tilson Auditorium, doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30pm
  • April 9th, University Hall, Championship Show, doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30pm
