Experience our Sycamore hospitality. Enjoy fun activities with your student, including trivia, bingo, pumpkin painting, the annual Indiana Bat Festival, and a movie with President Mike Godard. Explore what’s happening on campus. Meet your student’s friends. Attend open houses with faculty and academic departments. And cheer on our Sycamore football team! Family Weekend shows you why Indiana State is such a great home away from home for your student!

Registration Information
Family Weekend is open to all family and friends of Indiana State students. Register today and be a guest on our campus!
Arrival Information
We encourage families to arrive on Friday, September 27 to enjoy trivia and Global Family Weekend with Indiana State’s Multicultural Services and Programs. Check-in will be held outside the John W. Moore Welcome Center (located at the Fountain at Dede Plaza) on Saturday, September 28 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. There also will be a photo booth, music, pumpkin painting, and a swag sale.
Travel, Accommodations, and Meals
Guests are responsible for coordinating meals, accommodations, and travel. Book your hotel stay at either the Hilton Garden Inn (812-234-8900) or Candlewood Suites (812-234-3400), located in downtown Terre Haute within walking distance of campus. Receive a discount when you indicate that you are participating in Family Weekend.
