You are invited to The Swope Art Museum’s 81st annual Wabash Valley Exhibition, one of the region’s longest-running juried exhibitions hosted by Indiana State University’s Yang Family University Art Gallery.
This year’s exhibition was juried by esteemed artist and educator Tony Gant, a Yale University graduate and professor emeritus of Knox College. Gant selected 71 outstanding mixed-media works by artists living and working in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee. The exhibition highlights a range of artistic media, including painting, drawing, photography, and new media, each exemplifying technical skill, conceptual strength, and creative vision.
Indiana State University is honored to partner with the Swope Art Museum in continuing the legacy of the Wabash Valley Exhibition while the Museum undergoes renovations, scheduled for completion in January 2026.
With more than $8,000 in prizes to be awarded, this year's exhibition offers a vibrant testament to the talent of artists throughout the Wabash Valley region and beyond. We invite the public to experience this compelling showcase of contemporary art and regional excellence.
