Working to Keep Students Honest: Strategies to Encourage Original Assignment Submissions and Reduce Academic Dishonesty
This session explores proactive, teaching centered strategies that encourage original student work and reduce academic dishonesty before it occurs. Faculty will examine how assignment design, scaffolding, clarity of expectations, and supportive course practices can minimize shortcuts while strengthening learning and student confidence. Learn ideas that promote academic integrity by designing coursework that students are motivated and prepared to complete authentically.
