Building a Caring Classroom: Accessibility, Mental Health, and Student Support Resources

This session focuses on building a caring classroom by increasing faculty awareness of the campus units that support accessibility, student mental health, and overall student well being. Faculty will learn when and how to connect students with appropriate support services, as well as simple, sustainable teaching strategies that visibly demonstrate care within everyday course practices. Emphasis is placed on helping faculty act as informed connectors within a coordinated campus network of care while maintaining academic standards.
