The Student Success Council is excited to share more information about a new first-year seminar course to be launched this fall. This 1 credit, UC 110 course focused on student thriving is a pilot run of a future university requirement.
To learn more about the course, ask questions, and share feedback, please consider attending one of our upcoming open sessions - Tuesday, May 12 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 13 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Sessions will be held virtually via Teams to accommodate scheduling as we wrap up this busy time of year. Registration is required in order to receive the Teams link. You can register via this link. Registration will close on Monday, May 11 at noon.
We are opening a call for faculty and staff interested in teaching this fall. A master's degree is required to teach, and the standard stipend of $1,200 per credit hour will apply. Faculty who prefer to teach for service credit may do so if they prefer. You can let us know of your interest by filling out the survey at this link.
The deadline to respond is Friday, May 15 at noon.
