Pathway to Indiana State

Discover Your Pathway to College Success!

The Pathway to Indiana State (formerly Pathway to Blue) is a program designed for students who are eligible to enroll at Ivy Tech Community College, and who have the intention of transferring to Indiana State University. It is an invitation-only program. Eligible students will be notified by the Indiana State University Office of Admissions.

Participants in Pathway to Indiana State take their classes on Indiana State’s campus, live in the same campus residence hall as part of a dedicated Living-Learning Community (LLC), and enjoy full access to campus dining, facilities, clubs, and events.

This partnership with Ivy Tech helps you establish the academic foundation for a smooth transition into full-time enrollment at Indiana State through co-academic advising, workshops, and community-building events.

Eligibility

The Pathway to Indiana State program is invite-only. Students who have applied to Indiana State and have an official transcript on file are notified of their eligibility. For more information, contact our Office of Admissions at 812-237-2121 or email admissions@indstate.edu.

Orientation & Events

Pathway to Indiana State students are invited to attend a special New Sycamore Orientation (NSO) session for information about their LLC community. The next NSO for Pathway to Indiana State is scheduled for July 16, 2026.
