It's How Students Become Leaders
Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) is the premier leadership training in the country and can be taken as part of your college curriculum without any commitment owed to the Army. In fact, credits can be used to achieve a minor in leadership which is valued by businesses throughout the country. As a student at Indiana State University, learning to become a leader will improve your college experience and prepare you for your future -- whatever it may hold.
What is ROTC?
ROTC, or Reserve Officers' Training Corps, is a college program that provides students with leadership training and military education while they complete their degree. Through ROTC, students gain valuable skills in management, strategy, and discipline, preparing them for future roles as commissioned officers in the U.S. military. The program combines academic coursework with practical, hands-on experiences, including leadership labs and physical training. By participating in ROTC, students not only earn a degree but also develop the capabilities to lead and serve their country in a rewarding and impactful career.
