Why Complete the Pre-Veterinary Program at Indiana State?

If your educational and career goals include attending veterinary school to become a veterinarian, then Indiana State’s Pre-Veterinary Program is a great first step.

Take the First Step Toward Success

Upon admission to Indiana State, you will be assigned a pre-professional advisor who will help you develop a strategy for completing prerequisites, identifying an appropriate departmental major (degree program), and navigating the veterinary school application process.

During your second or third semester, you will select a degree program. A faculty advisor is then assigned to help you develop a plan to meet the degree requirements for that major.

Note: This program is not designed for students interested in veterinary technician programs.
