Halls open for students participating in Bridge Week (by registration only). Meal

plans are available for use beginning at 2:00 PM.

Housing and food daily usage refund period begins for withdrawal checkouts.

 

Thursday, August 13

Halls open for those who live locally (by invitation only).

 

Friday, August 14 – Sunday, August 16

Opening for regular move in. Students should arrive according to their selected move-in appointment. Meal plans are available for use upon arrival.

Incoming freshmen move-in is Friday and Saturday by appointment as specific programming is provided for them.                 

Returning student move-in is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday by appointment.                                                                              

Limited appointments for Friday and Saturday.

 

Saturday, August 15

All incoming freshman students should be moved in by 4:00 PM.

 

Monday, August 17

Residents not returning for fall must be moved out in order to receive a full housing and food refund for the fall semester (minus any daily usage/occupancy charges).

 

Tuesday, August 18

First day of fall classes. No-show date. (Failure to move in does not cancel student’s financial responsibility for housing and food charges.)

Housing and food 75% refund period begins for withdrawal checkouts.

 

Friday, August 21

1st 8 Week Classes: Last Day to Add/Register & Drop/Withdraw with No Grade

Sunday, November 29Residence halls open after Thanksgiving Break at 12:00 PM. Meal plans are available for use beginning at 2:00 PM.
Saturday, December 12Residence halls close for Winter/Semester Break at 12:00 PM. Break housing and apartments remain open. Last meal served will be 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM brunch in Sycamore Dining.
Sunday, December 13Residents participating in Commencement must be checked out by 12:00 PM.

Spring 2027

Residents withdrawing from the University and/or academically dismissed students must set an appointment to check out during these designated days.

Opening for incoming new freshman and new transfer students only. New residents will be sent information about selecting their move-in appointment time.

Housing and food daily usage refund period begins for withdrawal checkouts.

 

Saturday, January 9

Residence halls open for returning students at 12:00 PM. (No appointment needed.)

Meal plans are available for use beginning at 2:00 PM.
