Thursday, January 9Opening for incoming new freshman and new transfer students only. New residents will be sent information about their move-in time. Housing and food daily usage refund period begins for withdrawal checkouts.
Saturday, January 11Residence Halls open for returning students at 12:00 PM (no appointment needed).
Sunday, January 12Meal plans are available for use beginning at 12:00 PM.
Monday, January 13First day of spring classes. No show date (failure to move in does not cancel student’s financial responsibility for housing and food charges). Housing and food 75% refund period begins for withdrawal checkouts. Students not checked in by 12:00 PM will have card access and dining plan removed until they check in.
Thursday, January 16Last day to register/add classes for spring semester.
Friday, January 17Residents who are not enrolled in spring classes (zero credit hour class schedule) must be checked out within 48 hours.
Monday, January 20Martin Luther King Jr. Day. University Offices are closed.

Summer 2025

Saturday, May 10Transition to summer housing period. Residents continuing into summer housing remain in spring housing assignment.

Monday, May 26Memorial Day. No day or evening classes. University Offices are closed.
Thursday, June 19Juneteenth. No day or evening classes. University Offices are closed.

Students with no housing contract for Fall 2025 must be out by 12:00 PM.

Halls open for students participating in Bridge Week (by registration only). Meal plans are available for use beginning at 2:00 PM.

Thursday, August 14

Halls open for those who live locally (by invitation only).

 

Friday, August 15 – Sunday, August 17th

By Appointment Only

 

Opening for regular move in. Students should arrive according to their selected move-in appointment. Meal plans are available for use upon arrival.

 

Incoming freshmen move-in is Friday and Saturday by appointment as specific programming is provided for them.

Returning student move-in is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday by appointment. Limited appointments for Friday and Saturday.

 

Saturday, August 16

 

All incoming freshman students should be moved in by 4:00 PM.

 

Monday, August 18

Residents not returning for fall must be moved out in order to receive a full housing and dining refund for the fall semester (minus any daily usage/occupancy charges).

 

Tuesday, August 19

 

First day of fall classes. No show date (failure to move in does not cancel student’s financial responsibility for housing and food charges). 

 

Housing and food 75% refund period begins for withdrawal checkouts.

 

Friday, August 22

1st 8 Week Classes: Last Day to Add/Register & Drop/Withdraw with No Grade

16 Week Classes: Last Day to Add/Register & Drop/Withdraw with No Grade

 

Tuesday, August 26

Residents who are not enrolled in fall classes (zero credit hour class schedule) must be checked out within 48 hours.

Last day to lower fall semester meal plans.

 

Monday, September 1

Labor Day. No day or evening classes. University offices are closed.

 

Sunday, September 7

Housing and food 50% refund period begins for withdrawal checkouts.

Housing and food 25% refund period begins for withdrawal checkouts.

 

Friday, October 17

Fall Break. No day or evening classes. All University offices remain open.

 

Sunday, November 2

Housing and food 0% refund period begins for withdrawal checkouts.

 

Saturday, November 22

Residence halls close for Thanksgiving Break at 12:00 PM. Break housing and apartments remain open. Last meal served will be 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM brunch in Sycamore Dining.

University offices closed for Thanksgiving Break.

Sunday, November 30

 

Residence halls open after Thanksgiving Break at 12:00 PM. Meal plans are available for use beginning at 2:00 PM.

Residence halls close for Winter/Semester Break at 12:00 PM. Break housing and apartments remain open. Last meal served will be 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM brunch in Sycamore Dining. 

 

Sunday, December 14

Residents participating in Commencement must be checked out by 12:00 PM.

Spring 2026
