Indiana State University’s Bailey College of Engineering and Technology will showcase its aviation programs during the 2026 Terre Haute Air Show, August 22–23 at the Terre Haute Regional Airport.
The event will provide prospective students, families, aviation enthusiasts and members of the community an opportunity to learn more about Indiana State’s aviation programs and the educational and career opportunities available to Sycamores. Bailey College of Engineering and Technology Dean, faculty, flight instructors, staff and students will be on hand throughout the weekend to share information, answer questions and talk about their experiences at Indiana State.
The University will have a prominent presence at the Air Show with its Aviation Technology trailer and three aircrafts on display around the trailer. Under the trailer awning, visitors can watch videos highlighting Indiana State’s aviation programs and visit information tables featuring Professional Aviation Flight Technology (PAFT), Aviation Management (AM) and Unmanned Systems.
Current students and flight instructors will also provide visitors with a firsthand look at the learning and training opportunities available through Indiana State, from flight instruction and aviation operations to unmanned systems and other emerging areas of the aviation industry.
Indiana State’s participation in the Air Show is part of the continued effort by Indiana State University to increase awareness of Aviation Technology, highlight the University’s educational resources and career-connected programs, and strengthen relationships with the regional aviation community.
For prospective students considering a future in aviation, the weekend offers an opportunity to see aircraft up close, meet the Sycamores who are already pursuing aviation careers and discover how Indiana State can help turn an interest in aviation into a profession.
