Indiana State University will officially break ground on its largest capital improvement project this Friday at 11:00 a.m. The $66 million renovation of the Technology Annex at the Bailey College of Engineering and Technology represents a fundamental investment in the University and Indiana’s future workforce. The event will bring together Indiana State University administrators, state officials, and local community leaders to celebrate the start of this pivotal project.

Once completed, the newly renovated Technology Annex will enhance the University’s renowned Bailey College of Engineering and Technology programs, which include Computer Science, Robotics, Construction Management, and Engineering. These programs are critical to ensuring Indiana has a well-trained workforce equipped to meet the needs of industries across the state and the country.

Terre Haute-based Garmong Construction will serve as the construction manager for the project, which is targeted for substantial completion by January 1, 2027.
