The Organizational Leadership and Learning Graduate Certificate can be completed fully online or in person on the Indiana State University campus. The program is open to U.S. and international applicants who satisfy admission requirements.
Our Organizational Leadership and Learning Graduate Certificate program is ideal for professionals working in (or aspiring toward) management and leadership roles in the areas of organizational development, coaching, team building, and developing human resources.
The Organizational Leadership and Learning Graduate Certificate program includes a group of four courses (12 credits combined) focusing on the following:
All courses are offered online. On-campus visits are not required for students completing the online certificate program.
Our faculty have extensive real-world industry experience and are committed to providing you with comprehensive coursework that reflects real-world industry situations and challenges. Small class sizes allow you to work closely with your professors and collaborate with classmates.
Completing the Organizational Leadership and Learning Graduate Certificate puts you closer to earning a master’s degree from the Scott College of Business. All course credits for this certificate program are applicable to the Master of Science in Human Resource Development (MSHRD) at Indiana State. Some credits may also apply toward the Scott MBA program.
The Organizational Leadership and Learning Graduate Certificate program includes a group of four courses (12 credits combined) in areas such as organizational development, consulting and coaching, team building, leadership, and developing human resources.
The Organizational Leadership and Learning Graduate Certificate program prepares you for a career as a leader, educator, coach, and team-builder for organizations in business, industry, government, and the non-profit sector.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements for admission:
Returning Indiana State students must apply for re-admission if they have not attended Indiana State University for more than two calendar years.
Complete the online application for graduate admission at apply.indstate.edu/portal/apply?tab=overview.

Submit official transcripts from all colleges previously attended. Submit a nonrefundable application fee of $45.00 (U.S. citizens and permanent residents) or $65.00 (international students) payable by Visa, MasterCard, or check or money order payable to Indiana State University. Accepted language tests include Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Duolingo.

Application deadlines for the Organizational Leadership Graduate Certificate are August 1 for the Fall term and December 1 for the Spring term. These dates apply both for on-campus and online program enrollment.
Applicants are encouraged to apply by the priority deadline to ensure full consideration for their desired term. Processing of applications typically takes fewer than 30 days. Applications received after the priority deadlines may be wait-listed pending an opening.

Once admitted, you will receive notification from the University and will be provided your University ID number, which is needed to activate your University username on the MyISU Portal. The Portal offers access to online registration, University records, and other important services, including e-mail and University announcements.
