VISION Institutional Research will provide easily accessible, relevant data for deeper and broader information and analysis to support data-driven decision making for internal and external stakeholders.

MISSION Institutional Research serves as the central point for official institutional data and produces accurate data reports and analysis for institutional planning and decision making for the University, the region, and the state.

FOCUS

  • Data Access: Improve the campus’ ability to access data, increase usage, functionality, and content of Blue Reports, respond to ad hoc data requests, provide official data definitions and context.
  • Analysis: Relevant analysis to support decision making, develop visually appealing customizable data, deliver timely and pertinent analysis, promote tools to increase data aptitude & analytics capability.

FUNCTIONS

  • Mandated Reporting: Federal and state, accreditation, internal and external requests.
  • Survey Research: Consult and develop instruments, collect and analyze data, present results.
  • Data Development & Management: In-house databases, Blue Reports, Argos reports for Banner.
